The students were chosen by a faculty selection committee of Phi Beta Kappa members based on the breadth, depth and rigor of their academic programs, as well as recommendations from faculty members who have worked closely them.

Columbia University Athletics recognized 326 Dean's List and 55 student-athletes for achieving a perfect 4.0 term grade point average at its 20th annual Academic Achievement Luncheon last Tuesday at Low Library. Both totals represent the highest number of Columbia student-athletes honored in each category over the last five years.
