Columbia lacrosse capped a historic 2018 season at the Ivy League Tournament on Friday, May 4th. The Lions took on top-seed and host Princeton (11-5, 7-1 Ivy) in a rematch of the teams' regular-season finales last weekend. The Tigers opened the night with a 10-1 advantage at the break and held off six goals by Columbia in the second half to hand the Lions a 17-7 defeat.

On Friday, May 4 at 7:05 p.m., the Columbia lacrosse team will take on top-seed host Princeton (10-5, 6-1 Ivy) in the program's first Ivy League Tournament match at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium. For the second consecutive week, the Lions will get another shot at the Tigers who edged Columbia in their home finale on April 28th.

The Columbia lacrosse team earned, a program record, five selections on the All-Ivy League teams, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, May 1st. Junior Lindsey Ewertsen became the first player in program history to garner Midfielder of the Year honors. Senior attacker Victoria Kalamaras joined Ewertsen on the first team giving the Lions a pair of first-team honor for the first time in program history.
