
No. 2 Columbia added another trophy to its case. The Lions' second varsity eight continued its unbeaten streak with a five-second win over Cornell.

On Saturday, the Lions face MIT and Cornell on the Charles for the Geiger Cup. Sunday, Columbia faces Dartmouth in Hanover for the Subin Cup.


The varsity eight claimed the trophy for just the third time since 2003 and for the first time since the 2015 campaign.

The newly minted No. 1 lightweight rowing team will host Yale and Penn for the Blackwell Cup. The full day of racing will be broadcast live on the Ivy League Network.


In another down-to-the-wire race, the Lions' varsity eight came up just shy of topping the Crimson. The second varsity eight came up with a thrilling win, rallying in the final 500 meters.
