
Ten Columbia University student-athletes were named to the 2018 Winter Academic All-Ivy League Team, league officials announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Columbia diving will spend the next three days at the Rutgers Aquatic Center, March 5-8, competing in the NCAA Zone A Championships for a chance to qualify for the 2018 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.

The Columbia swimming and diving teams were among 688 collegiate programs, recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the 2017 fall semester.

Piscataway, N.J. - Highlighted by a 400 medley relay championship title, the Columbia women's swimming team capped the 2018 ECAC Women's Open Swimming & Diving Championships on Sunday, Feb. 25.The foursome of Julia Samson, Olivia Berridge, Miriyam Ghali and Audrey Richter combined for a winning time of 3:47.56 in the 400 medley relay. Several members of the Columbia swimming team will compete at the ECAC Women's Open Championships in Piscataway, N.J. this weekend. The three-day meet begins on Friday, Feb. 23 and extends through Sunday, Feb. 25, with prelims will be held at 10 a.m. (Friday,Saturday) and 9 a.m. (Sunday), followed by finals at 6 p.m. (Friday & Saturday) and 4 p.m. (Sunday).

The Columbia swimming & diving team capped the final day of the 2018 Women's Swimming & Diving Ivy League Championships with a number of impressive performances on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Blodgett Pool. Mary Ashby posted her second championship finals finish with a fourth-place time of 49.88 in the 100 freestyle.

A podium finish by sophmore Helen Wojdylo in the 100 breaststroke highlighted the third day of action for Columbia at the the 2018 Women's Swimming & Diving Ivy League Championships. Wojdylo clocked with a time of 1:02.39 in the finals heat for fifth-place overall.

The first full day of action of the 2018 Women's Swimming & Diving Ivy League Championships began Thursday for Columbia at Blodgett Pool. The 200 freestyle relay squad of Mary Ashby, Susie Zhu, Kathleen O'Rourke and Jessica He led all Lions performances with a fifth-place finish in a season-best time of 1:31.98. Ashby also posted a sixth-place championship finals finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.05.

The opening night of the 2018 Women's Swimming & Diving Ivy League Championships began with a pair of relay competitons on on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in Blodgett Pool.


NEW YORK - On Wednesday, Feb. 14 – Saturday, Feb. 18 the Columbia women's swimming and diving team will compete for conference supremacy at the 2018 Ivy League Championships hosted by Harvard at Blodgett Pool.


NEW YORK – In the final dual-meet of the season, the Columbia women's swimming & diving team were sensational at home en route to a 175-114 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday, Feb. 3. The Lions posted a pair of Uris Pool records in its second-consecutive home win to cap the year.

South Orange, N.J. – On Saturday, Jan. 27, the Columbia women's swimming & diving team was sensational in their final road meet of the season taking down Seton Hall 175-117.
