On Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m., the Columbia lacrosse team will look to keep its Ivy League tournament hopes alive as they return to Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium to host Brown (8-5, 1-4 Ivy). The Lions currently sit in a three-team tie with Yale and Cornell in the fourth spot of the conference standings. Lacrosse Tallies Record Day in 12-10 Win at Yale

Leading a record day for the Lions was junior Lindsey Ewertsen, who in just three seasons, set a new Columbia career record in caused turnovers with six on Saturday for a current total of 86. The New Jersey native surpassed the previous record of 80 held by both Paige Cuscovitch 14CC and Kate Lombard 07CC. Ewertsen also tied her 2017 total of 33 in a single season for second most in program history, trailing only Paige Cuscovitch 14CC who holds the record with 38.

In just three seasons, Lindsey Ewertsen tied the Columbia career record in caused turnovers with her 80 on Wednesday, March 28 in the Lions non-conference finale at Wagner. With two in the game, Ewertsen tied the current record of 80 held by both Paige Cuscovitch 14CC and Kate Lombard 07CC. The junior added a goal and an assist on the day as well.

Columbia Outlasts Harvard In Home Victory, 14-13

Led by a career day from Victoria Kalamaras, behind program single-game record of six assists and a score, the Columbia lacrosse team defeated Harvard14-13 for the first time since 2009. Sparked by a sensational nine-goal first half and a seven Lions finding the back of the net, including hat tricks by Fallon Quinn and Lindsey Ewertsen, the offense kept the Lions in front and never trailed in the game.
