Jackie Chulya Rises to 23rd Place at Augusta Invite

With her second 74 in as many days, Jackie Chulya moved up in the standings with each round and finished in 23rd out of 78 golfers Sunday at the 12th annual 3M Augusta Invitational, held at Forest Hills Golf Club. Chulya led six Columbia women golfers to a 10th place team finish with a 308-307-306-921 (+57).

Women's Golf Remains in 11th Place After Day Two at Augusta

The Columbia women's golf team shot a 307 to remain in 11th place after day two of the 12th annual 3M Augusta Invitational Saturday at Forest Hills Golf Club. Columbia, which currently sits at 308-307-615 (+39), will play the final and third round on Sunday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Jackie Chulya Places Eighth, Women's Golf Finishes 10th at Cardinal Cup

Columbia senior Jackie Chulya fired a 31 in the final nine holes to conclude the 54-hole Cardinal Cup invitational in eighth place Tuesday. Facing a competitive field that featured seven teams ranked among the nation's top-50 women's golf teams, Chulya finished with a 71 on the final day to pace a Columbia team that finished in 10th place with a combined 931 score (plus 67) at the Louisville Golf Club.

The Columbia women's golf team will travel to Louisville, Ky. this weekend to compete in the 15th annual Cardinal Cup Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 23-25 at the University of Louisville Golf Club. The Cardinal Cup is a three-day 54-hole competition which features a 16-team field including six teams ranked among the nation's top-50.

Behind top-10 performances from freshman Ridhima Dilawari and senior Jackie Chulya, the Columbia women's golf team captured its second consecutive fall invitational title Sunday as it was named the Yale Intercollegiate team champions at the event. The 19 teams were scheduled to play 18 more rounds on Sunday morning, but competition at the Course at Yale was halted due to inclement weather.
