The Lions and Bears will now play a single-game Friday at 3 p.m. followed by the originally scheduled doubleheader Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

A five-run first inning for Monmouth sent the Columbia baseball team to a 9-3 defeat to the Hawks Wednesday afternoon.

The Lions and Hawks will meet for just the 12th time Wednesday in West Long Branch.
