The hardware continued for the National Champion Columbia archery team as archers Sophia Strachan, Brittney Shin and Bianaca Gotuaco were named to the 2018 Collegiate Archery Program All-American Team on May 20th. Strachan and Gotucao receive their second consecutive All-American nod, while Shin garners the selection in an impressive rookie campaign.
Sophia Strachan capped Columbia's 2018 National Outdoor Collegiate Championships with a silver medal podium finish in the individual compound on Sunday, May 20th. Strachan defeated three opponents in the elimination rounds to earn the national runner-up finish, including a semifinals' win over teammate Brittney Shin.
For the second-consecutive season, Columbia Archery caps its year with a national championship in the compound division at the 2018 National Outdoor Collegiate Archery Championships held on Saturday, May 19 at the Easton Newberry Archery Center. NEW YORK – On Feb. 17 -18, the Columbia archery team hosted the first C.U. Open (A Pink Arrow Project Fundraiser) at the Columbia Archery Training Facility. The Lions welcomed a number of archers in an event that also helped raise funds for the mission of the Pink Arrow Project.

Mays Landing, N.J.– The Columbia archery team kicked-off the indoor season on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the 2018 Atlantic Cape Eastern Seaboard. Sophomore Sophia Strachan posted the top score in the compound with an impressive 588 points, shooting a new personal record by a single point. First-year Brittney Shin placed second in her inaugural collegiate tournament with a score of 561, along with a fourth-place finish by first-year Deborah Teo at 532 points.
