Concluded year ranked third on squad with a 74.79 stroke average (1,421 strokes in 19 rounds) ... Ranked second on squad with four top-25 finishes and led squad with its best 36-hole score of 138 and best 54-hole score of 213 ... Also registered four par/under-par rounds on year ... Led Lions in spring season with low stroke average of 73.55 (809 strokes in 11 rounds), one top-5 finish and top-25 finishes (two) ... Joined Columbia squad after a four-year high school career where he served as team captain as both a junior and senior and held the lowest stroke average on the team in each of his final three season. Named a four-time scholar athlete, Perna finished third at the Vinoy Classic, second at the Baker Bulldog Invitational and carded a career-low 64 as a sophomore. Other accolades for Perna include a second-place finish at the 2015 Ryan Wells Junior Classic on Nov. 26-27 as well as an 18th-place finish at the FJT Boys Junior Amateur Championship on July 13-16, 2015. Perna was also able to finish two strokes under par in the final round of the AJGA Puerto Rico Junior Open presented by EaglesDream Golf Academy last January, finishing the event in 27th overall.
