NEW YORK – The Columbia baseball team is sending 11 student-athletes to various collegiate summer ball clubs this week. Below is a complete list of where the Lions will report.

A pair of left-handed pitchers have earned tryout contracts in the prestigious Cape Cod League. Lucas Hall will join the Orleans Firebirds, while Ben Wereski is headed to the Bourne Braves.

Columbia will send a trio of players to the California Collegiate League (Jordan Chriss, Josh Nicoloff and Tim Post) and the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL), where Jack Chernow will team up with AJ DiFillipo on the Onondaga Flames and Alex Fisher is headed to the Olean Oilers.
