Coach Mangurian on Steven Silvio: Only fullback on the roster. Tough situational player that knows his role, and is good at it. Has improved his blocking reads at the point of attack. Special teams contributor. Dependable and committed. Respected by his teammates for his work ethic and consistency. Flashes pass catching ability and was effective in short yardage as a ball carrier.

At Spain Park High School:  Three-year letter winner ... team captain ...  All-Metro/All-Hoover team ... Birmingham Quarterback Club Leadership Award recipient in 2010.
