Coach Mangurian on Mike Skalitzky: Spot special teams contributor a year ago. Has had a great off-season and will work at safety in the spring. Should compete for a core special teams spot. Mike has worked extremely hard this off-season and it shows. Now he needs to take it to the field.
2011: Saw junior varsity action.
At Marist High School: Three-year varsity player ... captain as a senior ... two-time All-East Suburban Catholic Conference ... academic all-state ... Class 8A state runner-up in 2009 ... named to Illinois 2010 Top 100 Players.
