Coach Mangurian on Roy Schwartz: Core special teams contributor last season. Practiced and provided depth at tight end. Will move back to defensive end this spring, but can provide situational depth at tight end. Runs very well and shows initial burst. Should have good range on the edge and will work to develop his pass rush skills. Athletic.

At Westlake High School: Three-year letter winner … 5A Division 1 state finalist ... 15-5A first team all-district ... two-time academic all-district ... team captain … totalled 40 tackles and 5.5 sacks … adding two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
