Coach Mangurian on Dan Slivka: High effort and motivated. Having a good off-season. Needs a productive spring to compete for playing time. Inconsistent hands, but not due to effort. Has to be a precise route runner and improve coverage awareness to get separation. Needs to take all his hard work this off-season to the field.

2011: Played in 6 games ... totaled three catches for 24 yards ... also saw junior varsity action.

At North Allegheny High School: Two-year letter winner ... all-section wide receiver 2010 ... WesternPAfootball.net 2010 Big School All-Star Team ... recipient of Ferringer Unsung Hero Award ... team most improved junior 2009 ... totalled 32 receptions for 752 yards and seven touchdowns in 2010 ... averaged 23.5 yards/catch good for second in the state ... member of the 2010 WPIAL and PIAA state champions ... also, played basketball and baseball.
