Coach Mangurian on Trevor McDonagh: Gained some valuable experience at the end of the season. Must improve accuracy and decision-making. Biggest challenge for a young QB in this system is pre-snap, coordination of protection and ability to audible at the line of scrimmage.  Played because he showed more consistency and working knowledge of the system. Will improve with experience and development of overall football IQ. Trevor will gain confidence and play to his potential as he masters the system and uses it to his advantage. Has a very even temperament and work ethic. Will split reps with Hank during spring practice. Steady. Will be a competitive spring. 

At St. Louis University High School: A two-time first team all-conference and a second team all-state honoree ... as a senior completed 195 of 334 passes for 3440 yards ... threw for 29 touchdowns and had seven rushing TDs.
