2013-14: NCAA Championships automatic qualifier at 184 pounds … Topped 20 wins with a 23-13 record, including three falls and two major decisions … Won the freshman/sophomore division at the Michigan State Open (11/9) and placed fourth at the New York State Championships (11/24) and EIWA Championships (3/9) … Victorious in his first seven bouts of the season … Went 4-0 at the MSU Open with three decisions and a pin of Tyler Hughes (Lake Erie) to win the freshman/sophomore title … Compiled a 4-2 record at the NYSC, including a pin of Dennis Melendez (Hunter), to claim fourth … Posted a 3-2 mark at Midlands, highlighted by a fall in 1:49 against Luther’s Jayden DeVilbiss … Won first seven matches of the 2014 calendar year, winning all matches via decision … Opened EIWA Championships with 9-0 major decision versus F&M Paul Alessandrini. 

2012-2013: Posted a 5-4 record on the year ... Of his five wins, four came via pin and the fifth in a major decision ... Went 3-2 in the Michigan State Open, pinning Josh Cook (Kennedy King Col.) in 1:25 and Mike Auletta (Edinboro) in 0:40 ... Went 2-2 in the NY State Wrestling Championships, defeating Cody LaFever (Oswego) by major decision, 11-2 and pinning Zachary Connor (Ithaca) in 4:04.

Punahou: Was a two-time HHSAA state champion at 189 pounds, winning the state title at that weight in 2011 and 2012 ... state runner-up at 152 pounds (2010) ... helped lead team to four consecutlve state titles ... as a junior in 2010-11, he went undefeated, pinned all but three opponents and allowed only one takedown against him ... compiled a 101-8 career record with 81 pins ... went 54-0 wit 51 pins in junior and senior seasons ... went 10-1 with eight pins at The Clash National Duals in Rochester ... was also an outstanding football player, earning second-team all-state honors as a senior linebacker.
