Menís Golf Finishes 11th at The Macdonald Cup

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Columbia men's golf team completed the second and final round at the Macdonald Cup Sunday afternoon, carding a 300 as a unit to finish tied for 11th. Host Yale won the tournament by three strokes over Hartford and St. John's.

Brandon Jowers was the top Columbia finisher, placing 34th with a two-round score of 147 (71-76). A trio of Lions finished tied for 39th, shooting 36-hole scores of 148. Harrison Shih (72-76), Jordan Lee (74-74) and Michael Yiu (74-74) each trailed Jowers by just one stroke.

Ford Fischer rounded out the Columbia lineup, carding a 149 (72-77) at The Course at Yale, tying for 49th.

Columbia is back in action next weekend, traveling to Chicago, Ill. to compete at the John Dallio Memorial hosted by DePaul.
