White came to Columbia after spending five years at Temple University, where she was most recently the Owls' Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Student Services.
At Temple, White oversaw rules education for student-athletes, coaches and staff, and also had program oversight of the Temple varsity women's gymnastics program.
White is a former track and field student-athlete from Lafayette College of the Patriot League, where she graduated with a BA in Government and Law in 2004. A native of Manalapan, New Jersey, White also received a Masters in Sport Management from Neumann College in 2007.
"Jennifer's compliance experience and ability to think creatively will bring a new dimension to our compliance office," notes Senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator Jacqueline Blackett. "I look forward to working with Jennifer during this NCAA transitional period."
Prior to her experience at Temple, White worked at Seton Hall University as a compliance coordinator and Bryn Mawr College as an assistant track and field coach.
White lives in New Jersey with her husband, Marty Lawlor.
