Schneider arrived at Columbia after serving three seasons as a men’s lacrosse assistant coach at Yale. In 2010 he joined the Bulldog staff as a volunteer assistant and finished his third season heavily working with Yale’s goalies. While at Yale, the team captured the 2012 Ivy League Tournament Championship and went on to earn their first NCAA berth in 20 years. He compiled a 33-14 overall record in his tenure and aided several of the nation’s top goalies.
In his last season in New Haven, Conn., Yale captured the 2013 Ivy League Tournament Championship on its way to the NCAA quaterfinals. It marked the team's first quarterfinals apperance since the 1992 season.
The Rockville, Md. Native is a former Hofstra University goalie and a 2009 graduate. Schneider also received a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He has also worked for InsideLacrosse.com, PoliticsDaily.com and DailyCaller.com while interning at ESPN Radio.
