Liz Tinto is in her second year on the Columbia football staff as the team’s assistant coordinator of recruiting and operations after spending the 2012 season as an office assistant. Tinto assists with recruiting, football special events and day-to-day office operations. Tinto also helps manage the football program’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and assists in the production and editing of multimedia content.

Before joining the Lions’ staff, Tinto got her start in collegiate football after spending the 2011-2012 academic year at the University of Colorado. While with the Buffaloes, Tinto served as a recruiting and operations intern for the football program.

Prior to her time at Colorado, Tinto was an Equestrian student-athlete at Auburn University and studied Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine. In 2006, she was a member of the NCAA Division I National Championship team, the Tiger’s first Overall Championship title in program history.
