NEW YORK - Harvard scored three touchdowns early in the game en route to a 34-0 win at Robert K. Kraft Field.  The Crimson totaled 202 yards on the ground in the win.

Havard scored touchdowns on two of their first three drives in the first quarter.  The Crimson got on the board at 10:18 in the first quarter when quarterback Conner Hempel scored on a one-yard run to cap a five-play, 72-yard drive that spanned 1:42.

Harvard took advantage of good field position after a 33-yard return by Scott Miller.  Two plays later, Paul Stanton rushed for the 21-yard score.

Both teams traded stalled drives, until Harvard got the ball with 3:17 remaining in the first quarter and drove 57 yards on 11 plays.   With 13:50 left in the second quarter Hempel ran in another one-yard touchdown.  The drive went 4:27.

Columbia got the ball with 49 seconds remaining in the half and got three first downs to drive to the Harvard 19.  Trevor McDonagh hit Hamilton Garner for a gain of 18 and follwed that with a seven-yard pass to Scooter Hollis.On third and one from the Harvard 38 yard line, McDonagh found Chris Connors for a gain of 11.  The Lions went for it on fourth and two from the 19, but McDonagh's pass to the right sideline was incomplete.

The Lions held Harvard scoreless in the third quarter.  The Crimson's final 13 points came on two field goals in the foruth quarter, and a touchdown run after a fumble recovery by Harvard. 

Toba Akinleye led the Lions with 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 2.5 TFL.  Zach Olinger also totaled 10 tackles.  McDonagh went 18-45-1 for 160 yards.  Havard's Hempel went 19-32-1 for 185.  

Travis Reim finished with four tackles, 29 yards on returns and an interception. Cameron Molina finished with 14 carries for 63 yards.

Columbia returns to action on November 16 at Cornell.
