LORTON, Va.—Five Columbia golfers competed as individuals at the three round, 54-hole Patriot Intercollegiate Sunday and Monday at Laurel Hill Golf Club. The golfers finished 18 holes on Sunday and 36 on Monday.

Curtis Chan led Columbia with a 53rd place finish at 226 (75-74-77), Tharusyan Pillay finished in 64th place at 227 (74-75-78) and J Christian Fitzgerald took 71st place with a 228 (75-76-77). Rounding out Columbia performances included Sunny Yan, who finished in 78th place at 229 (77-79-73) and Cullen Chung at 102nd with a 238 (81-81-76).

Combined, Columbia finished in 19th place at plus-56 with a 908 (301-304-303).

Two fall tournaments remain on the Lions’ schedule: the Nick Watney Invitational (Oct. 3-4) in Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course in Irvine, Calif. and the Dayton Invitational (Oct. 17-18) at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
