ARLINGTON, Texas - In the second of three Spring Break matches in Texas, the Columbia men's tennis team posted a 5-2 victory at UT-Arlington.

With the win, the No. 24 team in the country improves to 10-2 on the season.

The Lions picked up a competitive doubles point, taking two of three matches. In the top bout, the No. 20 ranked duo of Richard Pham and Victor Pham got by No. 52 Jhonathan Gonzalez and Mauricio Del Rio, 7-5, while Christopher Grant and Michal Rolski took the No. 2 match, 7-6, against Mario Muniesa and Marcos Sanz.

Hadavi and Victor Pham went on to earn wins in their singles matches, as did Alex Keyser and Timothy Wang.

In the No. 2 match, Pham dropped the first set, 6-0, but rebounded to take the second and third sets in a 0-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory over Guanarteme Nuez.

The top singles match went to Hadavi, who came out on top in 6-4, 6-2 fashion against Mario Muniesa. Keyser took the fourth match over Daniel Armengol, 6-3, 6-1, while Wang upended Pablo Colvee, 6-0, 6-2.
