SKOKIE, Ill—The Columbia men’s golf team concluded day one at the 21st annual Windon Memorial Classic in 15th place Sunday at Evanston Golf Club.


The teams played 36 holes on Sunday and will play 18 more on Monday. Several teams did not finish the second round and will complete those holes tomorrow morning. Live scoring is available at this link.


Columbia finished the par-70, 6,793-yard course at 48-over-par 315-295-608.


Senior Joshua Suh led Columbia with a 52nd place finish after 36 holes. He shot a six-over-par 77-69-146. In today’s second round, Suh carded 16 pars and two birdies to finish with one of the field’s top-rounds at 69.


Junior Sunny Yan placed second among Columbia golfers and in 75th place with a 12-over-par 77-75-152, sophomore Nick Brisebois is currently in 80th place at 16-over-par 80-76-156, first-year Dan Terrell is in 83rd place at 17-over-par 82-75-157 and sophomore Cullen Chung is in 84th place at 20 over-par 79-81-160.


Columbia is one 15 teams competing in the classic including Army West Point, UC-Davis, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Loyola, Ill., Marquette, Miami, Ohio, Northern Illinois, host Northwestern, Penn State, Princeton and Wisconsin.


The event is the third of four fall tournaments that the Lions will compete in. The Lions conclude their fall season at the Camden Collegiate in Camden, S.C. Oct. 21-22.
