A 2018 graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School in Washington, D.C. where he played four years of varsity football for Head Coach Elijah Brooks … Voted team captain as a senior … Helped lead the Stags to three straight Washington Catholic Athletic Conference titles … Despite suffering injuries, threw for 702 yards and six touchdowns, completed 42 of 82 passes with a long of 74 yards in five games played as a senior … Injured in the season’s second game … Opened 2017 season on ESPN as DeMatha traveled to Las Vegas to play Bishop Gorman and threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns while completing 11 of 23 passes in a loss … Started one game as a junior in win over Bishop McNamara where he completed seven of 11 passes for 161 yards, threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another in win … Served as backup for three years for the Stags … Also played two years of lacrosse as a midfielder … Member of the National Honor Society … Four-year Principal’s Honor Roll student … Involved in a variety of community service activities including a service trip to Camden, N.J., a retirement home near his high school, a kitchen for the homeless in Washington DC and is actively involved in his church with its youth programs.
