2013: Signed a free agent contract with the New York Yankees on June 13 … Received All-Ivy League honorable mention accolades … Appeared in 11 games, making 10 starts as part of Columbia’s weekend rotation …  Threw 64.2 innings, posting a 3-3 record and 3.20 ERA … Struck out four batters in his first start of the season at Lamar (3/3/13) … Sat down a season-high nine batters at UCF (3/16/13) … Threw the only complete nine-inning game of the year, giving up just one run at Army to earn his first win (3/23/13) … Recorded six K’s and gave up just five hits in a 2-0 shutout win at Brown (4/7/13) … Tallied seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings at Princeton (4/21/13) … Allowed just two hits over six innings to lead Columbia to a 1-0 victory at Penn (4/27/13) … Struck out four batters without giving up a walk in 5.1 innings of work against New Mexico in the NCAA tournament (6/1/13).
