Coming off a very good fall in which she demonstrated great leadership and consistent play ... will be an important part of Columbia’s defensive efforts and should help lead and direct a veteran corps of players ... competitive, tenacious, and feisty ... hates to lose ... has become more of a physical player over the years ... much more effective for it in 1-v.-1 situations ... possesses speed that allows her to put pressure on cutters in the midfield and take risks on the perimeter of defensive sets ... smart and opportunistic ... shows great patience and timing ... will be a key component of Columbia’s defensive zone schemes ... takes off with the ball when she hits the open field.

2007: 24 ground balls tied for fourth on the team ... three ground balls, two caused turnovers vs. Fairfield ... three ground balls vs. Dartmouth ... goal vs. Quinnipiac ... started all 15 games.

2006: Ranked fourth on the team in ground balls with 33 ... three goals vs. both Manhattan and Vermont ... had seven ground balls vs. Lafayette ... four caused turnovers vs. Bucknell ... started all 16 games. 2005: Played in and started 14 games.

At Massapequa High: 81 goals, 50 assists in her career ... four-year letterwinner in both lacrosse and field hockey ... captained both teams ... all-conference in lax ... twice all-state in field hockey.

Personal: Majoring in American history and plans to pursue a career in law ... enjoys piano and boating ... father, James, played lacrosse and football at Rutgers ... brother, Kirk, played lacrosse at Brown.
