Dwyer was named an Assistant Director in Athletics Development in 2015 after serving as a development assistant from 2012-14. In her new role, Dwyer will be responsible for managing the Annual Fund for Athletics where she will work with coaches to meet goals and coordinate direct marketing efforts. Dwyer will also serve as the director of Varsity C Club alumni volunteers, oversee The Women’s Leadership Council and help lead the Columbia Athletics’ Giving Day strategies and efforts.
Prior to her time working in the Athletics Development office at Columbia, Dwyer spent time as an intern with the New York City Triathlon and Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment Group.
The 2011 Columbia graduate also spent four years on the women’s basketball team, earning a unanimous Ivy League All-Rookie team selection in her first year with the Lions. As a senior, Dwyer became only the ninth player in program history to join the 1,000-point club, finishing her career with 1,051 points to put her seventh all-time.
Dwyer graduated from Columbia in 2011 with a degree in American Studies and English and is currently pursuing a MNBA as part of the Columbia Business School’s EMBA-Saturday program.
