Danielle DiMeglio was named Assistant Director of Facilities Operations in December 2015 after serving as the Assistant Director of Recreation Operations at Saint Mary’s College (Calif.) during the 2014-15 academic year.
During her time at Saint Mary’s, DiMeglio assisted in the development, implementation and improvement of recreational facility operations including day-to-day operations, entry access, scheduling, use of fitness area equipment, risk management and supervision.
A former Division I soccer player at Rider University and eventually a semi-professional player in the W-League, DiMeglio brings a combination of NCAA experience both as a former student-athlete and as an administrator after serving as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Salve Regina University in 2013-14.
In the fall of 2014, DiMeglio also served as an Olympic Sports Operations Intern at the University of California Berkeley where she provided operational support to Olympic sport teams and helped coordinate special events, such as recruiting events, team banquets, post-season championships.
While living on the West Coast, DiMeglio also picked up professional sports experience after working as a Community Relations and Events Representative for the Oakland Raiders in the summer of 2015. With the Raiders, DiMeglio assisted in the execution of special events and game-day.
After graduating from Rider with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Communication/Graphic Design in 2008, DiMeglio went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2014.
