The Lions matched the NCAA automatic bid output from 2015 last year, as the squad two years ago scored 82 points and claimed fourth. In 2014, three wrestlers punched their tickets to the NCAAs, when the Lions put forth a fifth place effort.

TOPS ON THE TEAM
Junior heavyweight Garrett Ryan leads the Lions with 22 wins during the 2016-17 campaign, with classmate Tyrel White (165) close behind with 19. Ryan and Alec Kelly (133) both have four falls to their name, while Ryan is the lone leader in major decisions with five.
