Elizabeth Grubb joined the Columbia athletic training staff in the summer of 2010 as an assistant athletic trainer. She currently works with the field hockey, women's basketball and men and women's tennis teams.
Grubb comes to Columbia after serving two years as an athletic trainer at the University of Kentucky. While with the Southeast Conference school, she worked primarily with the women's soccer team.
The Harrisburg, Pa. native also has experience at the Division II level, as she was a student assistant at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She worked with the men's soccer, football and softball teams at West Chester while also working with women's soccer, volleyball, field hockey, men's lacrosse and men and women's basketball at nearby Swarthmore College.
Active within the community, Grubb has volunteered at the Special Olympics at West Chester University and helped to organize CPR Certification classes for coaches and staff while at the University of Kentucky.
Grubb graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in athletic training at West Chester University in 2008 and completed her master's degree in the same discipline at the University of Kentucky in 2010.
