SCORING

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Columbia women’s golf team shot a cumulative score of 307 Saturday and will head into Sunday’s final round in 10th place.

Monique Ishikawa leads the Columbia contingent after two rounds. After shooting a 74 in round two, the Columbia freshman is tied for 29th. Joanna Henry carded a second round score of 84 and sits tied for 42nd.

Lisa Combs (76-80—156), Jane Dong (80-76—156) and Michelle Piyapattra (79-77—156) are each tied for 48th after the first 36 holes. Lilette Mocio improved her score by eight strokes Saturday, recording an 82 Saturday.

“We played better as a team, although the scoring did not reflect the better ball striking,” said head coach Kari Williams following the second round. “We need to have the scores reflect all the good things we are doing on the golf course. We are looking forward to tomorrow’s round.”

The final 18 holes of the Nittany Lion Invitational will begin Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.
