Women’s Golf Ninth After Two Rounds at Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Columbia women's golf team will enter the final round of the Lady Paladin Invitational in ninth place after shooting a team score of 318 Saturday. 

Michelle Piyapattra cut six strokes off her first round to card a 73 Saturday. Piyapattra is now tied for 13th after beginning the day tied for 35th.

Jane Dong shot a 79 for the second consecutive day and stands in tie for 31st with 18 holes left to play. Joanna Henry and Lisa Combs each recorded an 83 for the second round and will begin play Sunday in 49th and 68th, respectively. Monique Ishikawa played to an 84 and is tied for 55th.

The final round of action at the Furman University Golf Course is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday. will continue to provide live scoring of the event.
