The Burlington, Ontario native played a vital role in the Lions, 75-57, statement win at Villanova on Nov. 20, scoring all of his 14 points in the second half. Mullins was 4-for-6 from three-point range, and virtually all of those makes seemed to come as the Wildcats were trying to make a run to get back into the game.
In Columbia's two games at the Hilltop Challenge over the weekend, Mullins posted two more 14-point games, tying his career high, against Wayland Baptist and San Francisco. Against the Pioneers on Friday, the 6-3 guard made his first start of the season, drilling a trio of three-pointers and posting two assists in 30 minutes of work. Mullins continued his hot shooting, going 4-of-5 from beyond the arc against the Dons on Saturday.
Senior Brian Barbour also earned a spot on the weekly honor roll after averaging 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.7 steals in three games.
Cornell sophomore forward Shonn Miller was named the Ivy League Player of the Week, averaging 12.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.0 steals in three games for the Big Red.
