SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- Playing against some of the top competition in the country, including seven nationally ranked teams, the Columbia women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in 10th place on Tuesday at Sahalee National Golf Course.

As a team, the Lions shot 308 in the first round, followed by a score of 302 in round two for a 36-hole total of 611, 42 strokes back from the current leader, Stanford.

First-year Rachel Shi led the Columbia contingent through the first two rounds in a tie for 25th place with scores of 76-75--151.

Due to inclement weather, several teams did not complete round two on Tuesday. The final round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational begins at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, but the groups will not be repaired.
