PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia junior Alex Rosenberg repeated as Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon, splitting the accolade with Harvard’s Siyani Chambers. Rosenberg becomes the first Lion to receive the honor four times in a single season.

The 6-7 forward averaged 20.5 points per game, doing most of his work from the foul line where he shot 20-for-24 (83.3 percent).

Rosenberg posted 23 points, five rebounds and three steals in a thrilling 70-68 win over Brown on Friday night. Two days later, he compiled 18 points (and also reached double-figures in scoring for the 22nd straight game) and six boards to help Columbia knock Yale out of first place in the Ivy League standings with a 62-46 victory.

For the season, Rosenberg now has the third most free throw makes (172) and fourth most free throw attempts (214) in program history.

The Lions return to action on Friday, Feb. 28, when they travel to Dartmouth for a 7 p.m. game on the Ivy League Digital Network.
