Since then, the women’s team have continued to be impressive and head into this weekend’s championship meet with five Ivy League-best marks and hold top-five performances in 14 events.

In the 60m and 200m , senior Marvellous Iheukwumere holds top times in both sprints (60m – 7.46) (200m-24.02) as she returns to defend her Ivy League crowns. Iheukwumere will compete for a third consecutive 200m title and second straight 60m title. The Austin, Texas native set a new program record in the 60m this season when she clocked in with a time 7.46 at the NYU Challenge.

In the field, Nadia Eke posts a top leap of 5.71m in the long jump and a leading measure of 12.93m in the triple jump. Eke has put together a strong junior campaign including setting a new program record with her leap of 12.93 at Lions Invitational. The two All-Ivy League honoree won her first indoor triple jump title in 2012 and finished runner-up last season to teammate QueenDenise Okeke ‘13CC.

In her first-year, Gardenia Centanaro will head to Ivies with the best mark in the pole vault this season. Centanaro cleared a league leading height of 3.74m at the NYU Challenge in early December.

The Lions also show promise in the relays with one of the best times in the 4x800m and distance relay. Last weekend at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational, the quartet of Olivia Sadler, Jaycee Parker, Trina Bills and Waverly Neer set a new program record in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:16.65.
