Men's Golf in Fifth at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – After 36 holes of golf at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J., the Columbia men’s golf team stands in fifth place, just one stroke behind fourth-place Rutgers. The final round will tee of Sunday morning at 8 a.m.

Consecutive rounds of 71 for Brandon Jowers has him tied for 12th, leading the Columbia contingent. Harrison Shih rallied from a first round 75 to shoot a three-under 68 in the second to move into a tie for 16th, just one stroke back of Jowers.

Andrew Kim opened the tournament with a one-under 70, but a second round 75 has him tied for 26th headed into Sunday.

Christopher Chu posted an even-par round of 71 through the first 18 holes, but a second round 79 has him tied for 49th. Tharusyan Pillay will begin the final round tied for 63rd after carding rounds of 78 and 75.
