NORMAN, Okla. – Junior Brandon Jowers and sophomore Harrison Shih each earned a spot on the Division I PING All-Northeast Region Team, as announced by the GCAA.

Jowers, the co-Ivy League Player of the Year, is making his first appearance on the all-region team after a standout junior campaign. The Shalimar, Florida, native was the top-ranked player in the Ancient Eight, posting a 72.24 scoring average over 25 rounds, the lowest average score for a Columbia golfer since 1993-94. On the year, Jowers claimed five top-10 finishes, including a second-place showing at The Doc Gimmler and fourth at the Ivy League Championship.

Shih is making his second straight appearance on the all-region squad. His 72.56 scoring average ranked third in the Ivy League, while he matched Jowers for a low round of 66 this season. Shih shot in the 60s in five of the 25 rounds he competed in, finishing as high as third on two occasions. A tie for fifth at the Ivy League Championship earned him a spot on the All-Ivy League first team. He was the top finisher for Columbia at the NCAA San Antonio Regional, claiming 31st.
