Former volunteer assistant coach Amy Weeks has been named Acting Head Coach of Columbia Women’s Golf, Athletics Director Dr. M. Dianne Murphy announced today. She has been appointed to lead the program after former Head Women’s Golf Coach Kari Williams left Columbia to become head coach at Rutgers University earlier this month.

Weeks, who joined the Columbia women's golf program as an assistant coach in October 2011, will be the Acting Head Coach while Columbia undertakes a nationwide search for its next Head Women’s Golf Coach.

Before coming to Columbia in 2011, Weeks served as Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Oklahoma State University for seven years. She served as OSU's head women's golf coach from 2000-04.
