NEW YORK - This summer, Columbia women's basketball fans will have the unique opportunity to step onto the court with head coach and Columbia Athletics Hall of Famer Megan Griffith '07CC, as the Lions will host five sessions of basketball camps, providing opportunities for basketball players of every age and skill level.

"It’s a special time for Columbia Basketball," said Griffith. "What sets Columbia apart from the rest of the Ivy League is that we unite community with the vibrancy and energy of New York City. We are about the people within and around us. We invite all players that want to grow their game and work with our staff of teachers. This era of Columbia women’s basketball will be exciting. We would love to have eager players join us in Levien this summer."

Named head coach of the Columbia women's basketball team in March of 2016 and inducted into the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame in October of 2016, Megan Griffith was one of the top Lions to ever step foot on the court in Morningside Heights. The 2007 graduate currently ranks eighth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,061 points, making her one of only 11 players to ever reach the 1,000-point plateau. A three-time team captain, Griffith was named a two-time All-Ivy League selection, a two-time Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Team member and a two-time Academic All-Ivy League selection and still ranks third all-time in free-throws made (256) and fifth in free-throw percentage (.766).
