Ivy League Release

PRINCETON, N.J. - Arthur Bosua was named Co-Player of the Week and John Denis picked up Rookie of the Week honors from the Ivy League after the final weekend of regular season men's soccer contests.

The news came a day after Columbia picked up its 10th Ivy League title during a 4-0 victory over Cornell.

Bosua shares Player of the Week honors with Dartmouth's Noah Paravicini, as the Big Green won out to share a title with the Lions. The Columbia junior tallied a hat trick against Cornell with an assist, after scoring a goal in the Lions' 3-0 victory against Penn earlier in the week. In total, the tri-captain put up nine points this week. The league office decided to share the award between Bosua and Paravicini, who had one goal in a win over Brown. This is the second weekly award from the Ivy League for Bosua.

Denis earns his second Rookie of the Week award, after an impressive strike went into the back of the net against the Big Red. The rookie is Columbia's second leading scorer with four goals on the season.
