NEW YORK—Freshman Sam Moelis and sophomore Iman Blow helped guide Team USA Fencing to respective team medals this weekend at various international events.
Moelis’ performance helped guide Team USA to the Gold Medal at this weekend’s Coupe du Monde par equips in London, England. He finished 16th overall in individual competition.
Meanwhile, Blow helped Team USA earn the Bronze Medal at the Coupe du Monde in Lyon, France. She finished 35th individually.
In addition, two Columbia fencing alumni members posted top-32 performances at the Sabre Grand Prix in Cancun, Mexico, a Senior World Cup event. Jeff Spear CC’10 and Geoffrey Loss CC’16 placed 25th and 30th respectively in the event.
