On three-meter dive...
"A lot of the dives that I've been working on came together today, which allowed me to get the job done and secure a return trip to the national stage. I look forward to showcasing the work I've put in all year at NCAA's." - Jayden Pantel
"These meets are the toughest meets in the country. They are physically and emotionally draining for everyone involved. Jayden came through with a very steady performance until his second to last dive. He missed on what is normally his highest scoring dive and needed a great final dive to secure the spot. He came through in a big way and I couldn't be prouder of his performance. He will compete again tomorrow in the platform event to try and secure a spot in that event as well." - Scott Donie, Columbia Head Diving Coach
On platform dive...
"The bottoms on my dives today were a little inconsistent, but the tops were all there. There are a number of small little corrections to make that will lead to a big improvement in my score. Overall, I'm just happy to have been able to compete against a great group of divers." - Jayden Pantel
"Jayden secured another national qualifying spot on the platform today. We have some work to do before we go to nationals and we are looking forward to getting back at it. Our goals are now within reach and it's time to focus all our efforts on the Nationals." - Scott Donie, Columbia Head Diving Coach
