Khanna, who was also unanimously named to the All-Ivy league team last week, is an All-American for the second straight season.
The junior went 7-6 on the season and 4-3 in Ivy League play. Khanna competed in the No. 1 position for the Lions all season. She played in the Ramsay Cup (A Division) at CSA Individual Championships and won her consolation quarterfinals match against Trinity’s Salma Alam Eldin. Khanna finished her junior campaign ranked No. 12 nationally.
Sultana was named to second-team All America after winning the Holleran West (B Division) Championship at CSA Individual Championships. This is Sultana first All-American selection.
The senior had the best overall record on the team at 10-5 this season, and went 3-3 in the Ivy League competing in the No. 4 position. She was the only member of the Lions to register two wins at CSA team nationals with victories over both Yale and Cornell. She finished the season ranked No. 20 in the nation and will be missed at the top of the Columbia line-up next season.
