NEW YORK - The recognition for a phenomenal senior campagin continued for Taylor Quinn on Friday, May 12 as the midfielder was selected to the IWLCA Mid-Atlantic Region second team.
The four time All-Ivy League led the Lions highest-scoring offense in program history with a career-high 47 goals. Quinn capped the year by setting three Columbia records, including an Ivy League leading 56 ground balls to set a single-season program record, surpassing the previous record of 52 by Antoinette Allen in 1997. It also added to her career program career record of 185 ground balls.
With a team-high 53 draw controls, she collected the second-most in a single season in program, marking another career program record total of 194, the third most in Ivy League history. Quinn's 29 caused turnovers, the third most in program history, along with 79 over her career placed her for second most on the all-time list and fifth most in the Ivy League. Quinn is recognized as one of the best all-around players in Columbia history.
Quinn marks the second-consecutive Lion to garner IWLCA honors, following sophomore Lindsey Ewertsen's selection in 2016.
