TEMPE, Ariz. - The Columbia men's tennis team picked up the ITA All-Academic Team award, announced today by the ITA.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year (including fall 2016 and spring 2017).
A total of 10 Lions made the list, including Adam Ambrozy, Christopher Grant, Shawn Hadavi, William Matheson, Richard Pham, Victor Pham, Michal Rolski, Jackie Tang, Jack Turchetta, and Timothy Wang. The 10 selections tied for the most in the country, as Kennesaw State also had double-digit representatives honored.
The announcement came the day after Columbia announced four newcomers to this upcoming season's rookie class.
