NEW HAVEN, CONN.  Columbia men's squash will head to Connecticut this weekend to face No. 10 George Washington this Sunday.

RANKINGS!

The Lions are ranked No. 2 in the nation in the latest College Squash polls which came out on Wednesday. This comes after the then ranked No. 4 Lions defeated No. 3 Harvard and No. 2 St. Lawrence in back-to-back weeks. Columbia earned its first No. 2 ranking last season on January 20, but finished the season as the No. 4 team. 

ABOUT LAST WEEKEND

Columbia is coming off big wins over No. 3 St. Lawrence and No. 6 Rochester. The Lions dropped just four matches all weekend. Robin Mann continued his undefeated streak, improving to 9-0, while No. 1 Osama Khalifa, No. 2 Velavan Senthilkumar and No. 8 Krish Kapur have each only dropped one match.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION

George Washington is ranked No. 10 in the lastest CSA rankings and maintain a 9-4 record but have won five straight matches. The Lions beat the Colonials 9-0 last season and are 4-1 against them all-time.

UP NEXT

The Lions will get back to Ivy League play next weekend at Yale and Brown.
