NEW YORK – Rhys Williams ‘17CC is the newest signee of the Real Monarchs of the USL, announced on Feb. 15 by the club.
The Real Monarchs are affiliated with Real Salt Lake of the MLS, and play home contests in Herriman, Utah at Zions Bank Stadium. The USL season begins for the squad on March 24 in a home match against Tulsa Roughnecks FC.

Williams scored three goals and added four assists a season ago while playing for the New York Cosmos B squad of the NPSL. The defender played 49 matches during his Columbia career with 35 starts, seven goals, and five assists. Williams was a part of the Ivy League Championship team at Columbia in 2016, and was a second team All-Ivy honoree his sophomore season.
