Hanover, N.H. - Despite a an all-around day by Lindsey Ewertsen with five points on two goals and three assists, along with a game-high nine draw controls and two caused turnovers, the Columbia lacrosse team was handed their first Ivy League loss of the season at Dartmouth, 20-10, on Saturday, March 3. The Big Green used a 14 goal first-half start to power past the Lions, led by five goals and two assists from Ellie Carson.

Leading a six-goal opening period by the Lions was junior attacker Lindsey Ewertsen with three points on a pair of goals and an assist to Regan Steed for her first score of the season. Victoria Kalamaras also scored two goals in the first half, along with Fallon Quinn finding the back of the net.

Ewertsen went on to add two assists to a standout day in the second half, feeding both Steed and Orna Madigan for her first collegiate goal. For the seventh time this season, Kalamaras connected with Alexandria Absey for a goal scoring her 15th overall.

With nine draw controls, Ewertsen moves her career total to 96 to surpass Holly Glynn '09CC on Columbia's leader list for fifth all time.

The Lions (1-4) will be back in action on Tuesday, March 6 at 2 p.m. against Radford as they return to Robert K. Kraft Field.
